HARVEST SCYTHE

Here it is fans, the video clip for Harvest Scythe. The band has filmed this mostly under wraps, and it’s now available for your viewing. This time we used director Erik Johnson from the Bravo TV series Work of Art season 1. We’ve known Erik for many years, and the collaboration worked very well. Some of you may recognize the lovely Ashley Johnson from the pages of Playboy, who does a great job in the video as well.

Metalsucks.net debuted the video this morning, and you can check out their site here… http://www.metalsucks.net/2011/12/15/exclusive-cinemetal-premiere-novembers-doom-harvest-scythe/

The Wayfaring Chronicles iOS app UPDATED

The newest update to the iOS app, Novembers Doom – The Wayfaring Chronicles is now available for update.

This update is now a universal app, working on all iOS devices (iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.) Unfortunately, because of the limitations of Apples iOS store, the two existing apps for the iPhone and iPad found not be combined into one. The iPad only has been eliminated, and a universal app has taken it’s place. Sadly, this will not update, and you need to purchase the universal app. To help compensate for this, the universal version of the app is on sale for only .99 cents until January 1st. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are limited to Apples terms and conditions.

This update includes the “Aphotic” chapter, new art, new photos, Twitter integration where you can read the tweets from Novembers Doom and author Paul Kuhr, as well as links to follow them on twitter as well. The page turning also has an addition, where you can touch the left or right edge, swipe, or use the arrow buttons on the bottom of the screen to turn pages.

Those who own the original iPhone / iPod Touch version, this update is free.

**UPDATE 1.5.1 is out now addressing the icon gloss effect. It has been fixed.

***ANDROID USERS***
The app is being worked on now, and will be available for you SOON!

NEW DRUMMER ANNOUNCED

Novembers Doom is pleased to announce our newest addition, and replacement for Sasha Horn. Our new drummer is Garry Naples, a Chicago musician who has performed with bands such as Kastasyde and Without Waves. Garry was chosen through open auditions. Many talented drummers contacted us and sent in material, but Garry had an almost instant chemistry with the band, and everyone knew he was a perfect fit. We’re looking forward to the future!

NOVEMBERS DOOM SEEKS DRUMMER

Due to choices made by Novembers Doom’s drummer, Sasha Horn, in both his personal and professional life, only after much consideration, and a long year of a 1400 mile distance hurdle, Novembers Doom and Sasha Horn, have decided to mutually part ways. For once this isn’t your typical “musical differences” excuse, this is simply, due to distance and Sasha’s pursuit and focus in other directions, it became clear to all of us, he was no longer able to contribute the same dedication to Novembers Doom as the rest of the band. We wish Sasha the best in his future endeavors.

As for the future of Novembers Doom, we are currently seeking to fill this position. Anyone interested in this opportunity can contact us through drummer@novembersdoom.com. Several projects are already in the works, and where it’s too soon for any formal announcements, we can assure you, Novembers Doom’s best days are yet to come.
